Zadar is a city in Croatia on the Adriatic Sea. The Zadar Airport (IATA: ZAD, ICAO: LDZD) is around 14 km to the east of Zadar. One of the major industries in Zadar is tourism. Zadar was, along with Split and Dubrovnik, one of the centres of the development of Croatian literature. Zadar is divided into 21 local districts.
