Varna is the largest city and seaside resort on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast. Varna is the second most important economic centre for Bulgaria after Sofia, the country's foremost trade link to Russia, and one of the major hubs for the Black Sea region. Commonly referred to as the marine (or summer) capital of Bulgaria, Varna is a major tourist destination.
