Toulouse is a city in southwest France. Toulouse is the home base of the European aerospace industry. Toulouse is located at the junction with the Mediterranean climate, but uniform precipitation prevents it from being classified this way. The Capitouls (governing magistrates) of Toulouse embarked on the construction of the original building in 1190, to provide a seat for the government of a province growing in wealth and influence.
