Taormina is a comune and small town on the east coast of the island of Sicily, Italy. Taormina has popular beaches (accessible via an aerial tramway) on the Ionian sea. Just south of Taormina is the Isola Bella, a nature reserve; and the seaside resort of Giardini Naxos.
