Santiago, (also Saint James in English), is the capital and largest city of Chile, and the centre of its largest conurbation (Greater Santiago). The climate of Santiago is a warm-temperate climate with winter rainfall and prolonged dry season, better known as continental Mediterranean climate. Santiago is the industrial and financial centre of Chile. Some international institutions have their offices in Santiago.
