Milan is the capital of the region of Lombardia and of the province of Milan, Italy. Milan experiences a Humid subtropical climate with some continental characteristics. Milan is one of the world's major financial and business centres. There are few remains of the ancient Roman colony that later became a capital of the Western Roman Empire. The city of Milan is served by three international airports: Malpensa International Airport, Linate Airport, Orio al Serio.
