Heidelberg is a city in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Heidelberg is home to one of Europe's oldest educational institutes, the Ruprecht Karls University founded in 1386, more commonly known as the University of Heidelberg. Heidelberg was the center of the epoch of "Romantik" (Romanticism) in Germany. Heidelberg has been labeled a romantic town. This is used to attract more than 3.5 million visitors every year.
