Girona (Gerona) is a city in the northeast of Catalonia, Spain. The town's airport, Girona-Costa Brava, is about 10 km south of the town. The town is also getting served by the Barcelona Airport, about an hour drive. Girona is well known for the mild climate. The winters are getting cold and the summers are getting very warm.
